Subaru Outback PartsThe Outback remains one of Subaru's best-selling vehicles. The Outback comes in four models--the AWD Wagon, the AWD Sport Utility Sedan, the Outback Sport, and the AWD Wagon Limited. While some drivers have rated the Outback's windshields as rather fragile and others have described road noise, the reviews for the Outback have by and large been extremely positive. What are some exciting features of the new Subaru Outbacks? Not only do you get three point seatbelts for the rear seats and four-wheel ABS, but you also get a raised suspension. Top that off with a 2.5 liter 162 horsepower engine, and you've got one of the most powerful and durable SUVs on the market. Moreover, the Outback gets extremely good gas mileage for an SUV--approximately 26 mpg for the city. Upgrading Your Subaru Outback PartsSince the Outback weighs more than standard sedans, you may have to tweak the suspension to get a lower center of gravity. The heaviness of the Outback may not be a problem if you're doing simple off roading or city driving. However, if you really want to push the vehicle to its maximum, you could upgrade to STI grade springs for your struts or Carbotech brake pads. If you live in an area prone to cold winter weather, you might choose a heated seat option. If you want to upgrade to racing quality seats, consider MoMo seats--the cushions are specially calibrated for motorcross drivers. Bear in mind that to upgrade your engine or suspension, you may need to invest in other motor accessories to avoid putting undue mechanical stresses on your vehicle. ![]() Get all Auto Parts articles via
