Subaru Fog Lights

by Andrew Kozlov

Powerful Subaru plasma fog lights can make all the difference during tricky drives in inclement weather. You can adapt your car with either plasma or Super White fog bulbs, which run much cooler than standard fog lights of approximately the same wattage. The chrome plating on these fog lights not only adds style to your car's exterior but also provides protection for your headlamps.

The Super White fog lamps deliver similar luminosity to the High Intensity Discharge bulbs. Both the plasma and Super White bulbs are easy to install and come preassembled. The blue fog plasma light is housed in silver chrome and comes with both a switch and a relay. Furthermore, its 12 volt Dichroic reflection capacity makes it especially safe for tough driving conditions.

Super White and Plasma Subaru Fog Lights

While amber fog lights work well for standard street vehicles, professional race car drivers prefer the platinum Super White bulbs. Not only are these bulbs designed to be tough enough to withstand the hazardous conditions associated with racetrack, but they also last longer then their HID analogs. Furthermore, they're made of hardened prism glass, which refracts lights perfectly to cut through the fog.

Managing your upgraded Subaru headlights should be a snap. The mounting instructions are rather straightforward, and--since the wiring apparatus is preassembled--you don't need to do anything more than switch on the relay fuse. In addition, Subaru fog lights are usually backed with strong warranty plans, so if you encounter mechanical issues, you can usually fix problems quickly.
