ArtHow can you possibly define art? There are numerous interpretations of this word in dictionaries written by the wisest of humans, and yet still the definitions are debatable. Art is most obviously an extension of the imagination. Yet, there are countless human beings in our world, each with an imagination of his or her own. No one can possibly know what another sees when looking through eyes open to all possibilities, but aren't those possibilities different for all depending on experience? Some hard-bound definitions can be paraphrased to art equaling a creative impulse. However, some will argue that not every impulse is significant. Others believe it is another form of communication, its own language. Is art only notable if it can have some substantial monetary return? Others define the word as simply a creation of beautiful things, but then there is the argument that what is beautiful to some may not be so attractive to others. The truth is, it doesn't really matter which published definition is accurate because accuracy of what is visually appealing to one, compared to others, is impossible to define. When it comes to purchasing art, finding the solution does not take deep thought in the slightest. Pick the works that you like. It is that simple. If a work of art speaks to you, if it seems familiar or is just aesthetically pleasing, then by all means, buy it. Sure, you can plan out accuracy when it comes to incorporating specific pieces with your overall interior design, but the first impulse you feel towards the works should not be dismissed. The Simple Beauty of ArtIt is almost impossible to not find artwork that will speak to you in some way. Cover Your Walls is a company that offers a wide selection of works from numerous artists who share their own perspectives through beautiful art. Some choices include landscapes, seascapes, flowers, cultural exuberance, animals and other various representations of the life and objects that surround us. The vast options of pieces provide an abundance of selections for you to choose from for decorating your home or workplace. ![]() Get all Posters articles via
