Indian Creek Miami

by Sandy Mitchell

The Indian Creek Hotel, just one short block from the Atlantic Ocean, was originally built in 1936. Located in the heart of Miami Beach's Art Deco District, The Indian Creek Hotel has been delicately and carefully restored to its original grace and charm. The 61-room hotel was honored recently by the Miami Design and Preservation League for its outstanding restoration work.

The Indian Creek Hotel is an Art Deco gem. Nestled in a tropical garden, just enough away from the action to have a quiet and serene ambiance, The Indian Creek attracts visitors from around the world. The rooms are furnished with Art Deco pieces and little touches and superlative service keep the hotel in demand.

Staying at the Indian Creek Hotel

Nestled amid a tropical garden, the Indian Creek Hotel's 61 rooms feature Art Deco furnishings, central air-conditioning, private refrigerators, and daily maid service. Most of the rooms have private baths, but a couple of the less expensive ones share a bath down the hall. Non-smoking rooms are available upon request.

The Indian Creek Hotel has a lovely swimming pool, centrally located amid the garden. It is also just a short block away from the beach. The hotel has a breakfast cafe only, but a variety of casual and fine-dining restaurants are within walking distance of the hotel. Near the Miami Convention Center, the Port of Miami, and the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Creek Hotel is a charming oasis in bustling Miami Beach.
