Equally important is that it will also allow you to screen out banners you don't want parading across your own website. This will include competitors' products. They seem to guarantee that payments will be made on time, but again, look for complaints registered against them. You only want to sign up with reliable, honest people.

However, traditionally, complaints have to be many before the BBB acts against a member. Further, the BBB emblem seems to be missing from most banner advertising company sites. So, choose the most professional-sounding firm you can find.
