Rent Gamecube Games

by Devin Flanigan

Nintendo is the game company that was there before you were born, and will probably always be synonymous with old-school platform titles featuring a certain plumber and his spirited friends and relatives. The cute factor, however, should not stop hardcore gamers from giving the amazing GameCube a fair shake. Renting GameCube games means gaining access to a library of innovative titles for this system without shelling out major dough.

Subscription video game rental services online allow you to pick a number of GameCube titles and have them delivered straight to your doorstep. You can read descriptions and check out box art on the Web before prioritizing which games you want to experience. The monthly fee is usually based on the number of titles you wish to have checked out at one time.

Mario in the Mail

Even if Yoshi and friends leave you yawning, the GameCube has hundreds of titles to keep you from doing the work you keep putting off. The Pikmin series makes growing sentient flowers a dangerously addictive enterprise and there has never been a Zelda title that was not worth playing through to Ganon's inevitable demise. All of Miyamoto-san's games are so big and immersive, that the no late fee policies of most online game renters becomes a godsend.

The Resident Evil series is just too creepy to warrant a permanent space on many gamers' shelves, making renting a great option for these landmarks entries in the survival horror genre. When you've had your fill of devil dogs, simply place the disc in the pre-paid envelope, and wait for the strange but wondrous Viewtiful Joe to wing its way to your mailbox. Renting unique GameCube games can be a great way to stretch your gaming dollar to the limit.
