Voodoo PC

by Ivan Gale

Voodoo PC does a lot more than come up with catchy names for its computers. Besides, Voodoo isn't alone; witness the emergence of computer makers devoted solely to making gaming machines, and what clever, edgy names they've come up with. There's Vicious PC and Alienware, to name a couple. With over 15 years experience in making computers, Voodoo PC has grown into a legitimate, respected player in the multi-billion dollar gaming industry.

Voodoo, a Canadian company, makes gaming machines capable of playing the most sophisticated computer games. Some of their PCs include dual CPUs to process the most complicated and information-rich games. The company also doubles up on its video cards in some units. Despite all of this elaborate machinery, the Voodoo computers are considered very quiet, thanks to a liquid cooling system.

Voodoo PC Is More than a Catchy Name

Voodoo began as a small assembly of people working out of a single house. Now things have changed, but the company still builds each order by hand. Its teams have designed an innovative chassis architecture that also looks good, in addition to being functional and efficient. Voodoo also offers cases in a wide array of bright colors to choose from.

One thing Voodoo doesn't seem to do is make a cheap machine. In fact, some of their heavyweight desktops list for over $5,000 and $6,000. That puts these machines well out of reach for most gamers. For the truly devoted gamer with a little disposable income, though, Voodoo's top-shelf machines are the perfect cure for common boredom.
