Pet Odor Removal

by Tara Peris

Pet odor removal poses a formidable challenge for many pet owners. Whether it is the stubborn smell of cat spray or the rank odor of dog hair, it can be a nuisance to remove. Although it's never a small task, with the right tools it becomes infinitely more manageable.

Living Harmoniously with Your Pets

You love your pet. You love its personality, its companionship, and its comfort. You do not have to love its odors. In fact, they can be a real impediment to your relationship. Urine, bad breath, and fur are all common culprits and they can pack a real olfactory punch. Indeed, they can make it hard to rent apartments, and they can make even the most spacious home feel cramped, stuffy, and unpleasant.

So how do you find a way to coexist peacefully with Scooby? You find a way to remove the odors quickly and effectively. No, this does not mean sending your four-legged friend to the pound. It means looking for permanent solutions for fresh air.

It helps to begin by bathing pets regularly and brushing away excess fur from their coats. However, when these measures prove insufficient, it is often helpful to use an air purifying system that can filter airborne pet dander. This will reduce the likelihood of allergies and it will diminish unpleasant odors as well. With one simple step, you and your pet can be back in each other's good graces once again.
