Baseball Ticket Sales

by Alexis Leona

Some of the most entertaining baseball games cannot be watched on primetime television. You can catch a great game of baseball played locally by a minor league or community team. If you are a fan of baseball, you have countless options for purchasing tickets to a live game of baseball. Best of all, you can purchase some of the best seats in the stadium without paying an arm and a leg.

Before purchasing tickets to a local baseball game, it is important to know the basics of the game. Baseball is played on a diamond-shaped field with four bases marked at each corner of the diamond. The most sought-after seats are located behind home plate at the bottom of the field. However, some fans prefer seats that are positioned close to a favorite base player or team dugout. Unlike major league and minor league professional stadiums, local ballparks may not offer choice seats near every base. Keep this in mind when purchasing tickets.

Once you have determined where you would like to sit, you can purchase seats in low, middle and high price ranges. The cheapest seats are high above the field, while the premium seats are closest to ground level. Ticket prices for minor league and amateur baseball are extremely affordable, generally $15 and under for premium seats.

Baseball on a Budget

Tickets can be purchased for a single game or the entire season. If you plan to attend a game with a group of 20 or more people, be sure to ask about discounted group rates. Local baseball is an extremely affordable way to entertain the entire family.
