Football Ticket Sales

by Alexis Leona

One form of football that is growing in popularity is college football. Unlike the NFL, fans of college football know no regional boundaries when it comes to their favorite team. Fans will root for their alma mater from thousands of miles away. They may also cheer on a school that a friend or family member attends.

Relive the Glory Days with College Football

If you enjoy watching college football, you can attend a game by purchasing tickets directly from the university. Universities offer season tickets and individual game tickets. The average individual ticket will run you $40 (or less if you take advantage of a group rate or can gain access through a student contact). If your favorite team is not playing a home game, be sure to buy seats in your team section. There's nothing more intimidating than cheering on a team in enemy territory.

Premium seating is considered to be in the lower level sections nearest to the 50-yard line. Although, you may want to sit in the end zone to be closer to the action when your team scores a touchdown. Stadiums also have upper level skyboxes with private dining areas, climate control and television monitors. You may feel slightly removed from the action in an enclosed skybox, but this is the best place to be on a cold winter night.

College football is also becoming a family-friendly sporting event. Many universities banned the sale of alcohol at stadiums to promote a more civil atmosphere. College football can also give you all of the exciting action of a professional game at a fraction of the price. Everyone can enjoy a live game of college football.
