NBA Playoff Tickets

by Alexis Leona

The NBA playoffs is the series of games that narrow a field of 16 top-ranked teams to one championship team. These games are hosted in various stadiums depending upon the team match-ups. Since the playoff line-up is not determined until the end of the regular season, you cannot buy tickets in advance. As a result, season ticket holders have the best chance to purchase tickets to the NBA playoffs.

There are many options to consider when purchasing NBA season tickets because teams offer a variety of packaged deals. Fans can place a deposit on a season ticket pass up to one season in advance. The deposit is then applied to the final purchase of a season pass. Season ticket plans can cover the full range of games or a select group of dates.

Better Your Chances to Make the Playoffs

After the season schedule is finalized, you can select your choice of plan and pay down the remaining balance towards the season pass. Not all season ticket plans include seats to playoff games, but it does guarantee you first crack at purchasing playoff tickets. Season ticket holders are always given priority seat selection over the general public.

If you cannot afford to purchase a season pass, you can purchase playoff tickets from a season ticket holder or a ticket broker. However, supply and demand may mark up the cost of the tickets well above the price of a season pass. If there is a particular team that you absolutely don't want to miss watching in the playoffs, a season pass is definitely your best bet.
