World Series Baseball Tickets

by Alexis Leona

World Series tickets are the most sought-after commodity of baseball. The World Series of Baseball is a set of championship games that determines the top-ranked team of the season. Major League Baseball (MLB) and Little League Baseball both host a World Series. Ticket policies vary according to the league.

Tickets to the World Series of Little League Baseball are the easiest to acquire. In fact, tickets to the final round games are free. The Little League World Series is held annually in Pennsylvania. The stadium seats about 10,000 fans. Admission to the final round games is on a first come, first served basis on the day of the game. Tickets are not distributed in advance. It is recommended that you arrive early to secure the seat of your choice.

Be a Part of World Series Baseball

Stadium tickets to the Little League Championship Game are distributed by lottery. In order to be included in the lottery, you must make a request in writing for up to four tickets. If you are not selected from the lottery, you can still watch the game from the hillside terrace beyond the outfield fence. Tickets are not required for the terrace and there is space for 30,000 fans.

By comparison, it is very difficult to get tickets to the MLB World Series. Since it is nearly impossible to predict the team match-ups, there are no advanced individual ticket sales. The World Series schedule is finalized at the end of the regular season and ticket information for final round games is released at that time.

The best MLB World Series seats belong to broadcasters who distribute the tickets to their advertisers and to the general public through promotional giveaways. Other premium seats are given to high-ranking team executives. This places a high premium on the remaining few seats that are distributed to the general public. Season ticket holders stand the best chance of watching the MLB World Series live. So consider purchasing a season pass for the best chance to watch your favorite team compete in the World Series.
