New Jersey CD Duplication

by Michelle Baugh

One glance at record charts shows that compilation CD discs are very much in demand right now. The American public has really taken to the idea of several different artists performing popular songs on one album. Another big trend is remixes of popular songs. There are a dozen different ways to remix the latest song on the radio, and many of the remixes end up eclipsing the original song in popularity.

The people who stand the greatest chance of profiting off this new trend are the people who mix songs. These people are most commonly known as disc jockeys, or deejays (DJ). Found in dance clubs across the world, a DJ takes great pride on being able to select an interesting compilation of songs to be played. When a DJ has collected a healthy selection of music, there is a good chance that CD duplication could further advance their careers.

For a DJ in New Jersey, one option would be to create several compilations from the DJ's own catalog. This compilation would be considered legal to duplicate, as long as the DJ is the original owner of the media and does not intend to sell it for profit. Once the compilation is complete, the next phase toward advancement can begin.

The DJ can begin by selecting several dance clubs in New Jersey where they would like to be employed. Using the duplicated compilation, the DJ could then drop off a copy of the compilation for the club owner to hear. If the club owner likes the compilation and mixing styles, hopefully the DJ will have a steady job demonstrating their creativity for clubbers.
