MGM Grand Reservation

by Julie Atkin

The MGM Grand has many packages from which to choose, and visitors should always plan in advance when heading off for a vacation in Las Vegas. Whether for a single night or an extended weekend, there are several options available to make your stay more enjoyable. By carefully planning a vacation, visitors will be able to take full advantage of all the MGM Grand has to offer.

Reservations at the MGM Grand
The MGM Grand has an extensive website and reservations line to help guests secure a room for their upcoming trip. Be prepared to answer several questions when making a reservation. These questions are designed to help identify the purpose of your vacation, and to see what packages, if any, might be available for your stay. You should also pay attention to special events that might be taking place in Las Vegas. These events could either add to your enjoyment, or make navigating around the hotel more difficult--depending on your taste.

One of the most important decisions to make when staying at the MGM Grand is selecting your type of room. Included in the over 5,000 rooms available, there are more than 700 suites offering luxurious amenities and services. There are several levels of rooms, so choose according to your tastes and budget. (The Grand Class 29th floor suites are the top of the line.) Each room is decorated in classic motifs, and features a hair dryer, in-room safe, iron & ironing board, cable TV with pay-per-view, and telephone with voicemail.

As a DIRECTOR'S CLUB (Player's Club) member, MGM Grand guests will often receive information via mail or email with regard to upcoming events and room specials. These are a good way to save money, and often include special passes to the spa, lion habitat, or other attractions. These mailings are exclusive to club members, so pay attention to expiration dates, and special promotions when making a reservation. If you are not a member, you can sign up for free at the information desk in the casino.
