Excalibur Night Club

The Excalibur nightclub is a multi-room, three floor complex located in Chicago, Illinois. Upon entry to the main floor, the candlelit Cabaret is found, complete with the DJs and the Bad Boys of Live Late Night, who specialize in dance tunes with a comedic slant. For those who don't wish to dance, or who want to get away from the music, there is a lounge adjacent to the cabaret, with plenty of seating.

Upstairs, Club X offers three dance floors to choose from. The atmosphere upstairs is a little edgier than the rest of the Excalibur, with DJs playing techno and hip hop music accompanied by strobe lights. Club X is only open Thursday through Saturday, but there is a secret VIP room that can be rented out for small parties regardless of the night.

Below the main floor is the Billiard Room. Its function is what its name implies, and there are several tiger-print pool tables for guests to enjoy. The Billiard Room is also the location of the kitchen, where it is possible to order an array of appetizers and meals, such as chicken pot stickers, salads, sandwiches, and hamburgers.

Besides the usual dance club fare, the Excalibur nightclub also organizes special events. Among the more popular are the Wednesday night live karaoke band (the Durty Lounge Lizards), and the Thursday night salsa parties. Excalibur also has a seasonal show, offered around Halloween, which highlights the spooky and supernatural happenings around the area.
