If you like the idea of taking part in a convention at the same hotel where you are staying, there are plenty of Las Vegas hotels that have convention and meeting space available. Hotel convention venues in Las Vegas can handle a capacity ranging from less than 100 to several thousand people. There are hotels ideal for small and intimate gatherings and there are hotels large enough to accommodate several conventions with hundreds of people simultaneously.

The hotel in Las Vegas with the most convention space available is the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino on the Strip (Las Vegas Blvd). They have hundreds of spaces throughout the hotel designated for convention, meeting, and conference purposes. Each room has a large meeting capacity, a slightly smaller banquet capacity and some rooms come equipped with conference tables. They boast total convention room space of 1,663,697 square feet.

The Venetian Hotel & Casino, also located on Las Vegas Blvd, boasts a large amount of convention and meeting space. Their square footage of 345,917 is smaller than Mandalay Bay's, but is still very comprehensive. The Bellagio, Ceasar's Palace, and the Rio also offer plenty of convention, conference, and meeting space.

If you would prefer a smaller hotel off the Strip or if your budget dictates something less grand, there are plenty of alternatives. The Villa Roma Inn, the Siena Suites Hotel, and the Holiday Inn Express all offer convention space of more than 500 square feet. While these hotels are suited to conventions on a smaller scale and budget, they also offer more intimacy than the sprawling hotels on the Strip. However, they are still very close in proximity to all of the fun and entertainment that Las Vegas has to offer.
