Ojai's small-town atmosphere and diverse populace has created opportunities for job seekers of all ages and interests.

Most of Ojai's permanent area employees are deeply rooted in the community. The hotel and inns of Ojai, as well as the area's public schools, represent the valley's largest employers.

As you might expect, Ojai attracts a fair amount of seasonal employees. Students and young professionals can be seen working in area restaurants, coffee houses and wineries. There are also excellent volunteer jobs opportunities available. As Ojai is home to a large senior community, one may find volunteer opportunities at health and retirement centers.
