Labor Relations Management

by Diane Sievert

Labor relations management is an important aspect of your business. If the management is poor in this regard, you're likely to face a petition. Make it a point to see that your labor relations management is meeting the needs of both your business and your employees.

Don't Ignore Labor Relations Management

One of the most common mistakes managements make is ignoring the importance of labor relations issues. For many, numbers come first. If the books look good, that means everything is great.

Don't underestimate the effects of employee satisfaction. In addition to affecting their performance in the workplace, employee dissatisfaction can lead to the organization of a union. Unions will inhibit your ability to operate your business the way you want. If you suspect employee morale is down, take action now. If you don't know where to start, get help.
