Some of the most fashionable names in the tennis world include Venus and Serena Williams, the sisters who have made a name for themselves both as tennis greats (they were the first ever to be siblings at number one and number two in the tennis world), and setters of style. The tennis apparel fashion industry is not new. It stretches back to the 19th Century when tennis first became a very popular sport and women shortened and lightened their clothing in order to be able to play better.
