If a customer pulls out an ATM card and you're unable to process it, you can bet that customer will find somebody who can--probably your competition. Don't let the customers you've worked so hard to acquire just slip away. Be prepared for every payment method by having a large stock of ATM paper.

Because ATM cards draw funds directly from your checking account, you know instantaneously whether the money is available and don't have to worry about paying off your purchase down the road. What's more, there are no interest fees to pay with ATM cards, and no processing fees charged by any creditor since it's your money to begin with.

Stock Up on ATM Paper and Save

You know your customers are going to use their ATM or debit cards, so be prepared to check them through your line as easily as possible. Don't spend time worrying about whether you have sufficient POS supplies. Buying them in bulk will both put your mind at ease and let you save substantially on all the items you need from cash register supplies to pricing equipment.

When you buy in bulk from an online supplier you lower your costs considerably. The more you buy, the more you save. You can then pass those savings on to your customers and keep them coming back for more. It's such an easy formula that it's a wonder more retailers haven't discovered it.
