Try Online Income Tax Preparation This Year
I finally got the last of my tax documents today. Now I'm ready to get started on my online income tax preparation. I'll be using the same company I've used for the last couple of years, so the process will be even easier than ever.
The first time I tried preparing my taxes online, I was amazed at how much faster and easier it was than doing it on paper. There were, however, even nicer advantages than ease and speed. For one thing, I was more confident that I hadn't missed anything because the program walked me through the whole process.

I'm excited about being able to get my taxes done quickly, but I'm even happier about the reasonable cost, the security, and the confirmation of receipt that I will get directly from the IRS within 48 hours of submitting my return.
In addition, I'll be able to select direct deposit for my refund. That means that, instead of waiting weeks for my return, I'll get it in just a few days. I personally believe that it just makes good sense to file online using an online tax service.
