Salon Equipment

by Jeremy Horelick

If you're seeking salon equipment to help set yourself apart from your competition, an oxygen bar may be the perfect complement. Maybe you're a full-service spa offering massage, whirlpool, exfoliation, and other skin-care regimens, but you find yourself battling for the same clientele as your competition. If so, the novelty of an oxygen bar can help lure customers who are already concerned about their holistic well-being.

Some salon equipment can be exorbitant. Hot tubs, saunas, natural baths, and massage equipment can set a burgeoning business back thousands and thousands of dollars. Oxygen bar equipment, on the other hand, is comparatively cheap to install and confers the same overall benefits as those other therapies. And, if you're gun-shy about buying, you can always lease equipment instead, often with no minimum contract.

Soothing Salon Equipment

As our lives get increasingly hectic and stressful, we are always seeking new ways to relax. More people than ever, it seems, are choosing trips to the spa or salon over the typical beach vacation, which is usually more stressful than the work from which we're fleeing. After all, there's traffic, waiting lines, poor service, overly solicitous vendors and merchants, and screaming children around every corner.

For this reason, a private salon that pampers its customers with personal care and attention can be a much more attractive option. But for a spa to remain successful, it must innovate and keep up with its clients' demands and tastes. This means bringing in masseuses with new techniques, better aromatherapy, mud baths, whirlpools, and other popular salon equipment.
