Food Stock Photo

by Jessica Duquette

Bringing in New Business with a Food Stock Photo

A food stock photo can enhance your current take-out business. As a pizza shop owner only about 25% of your business is take-out. You'd like to double this number in the upcoming year but you aren't sure how to get started.

Look at your existing materials and processes. Do you have one or more competent drivers who deliver food in a timely manner? Is your take-out menu clear and concise? By looking at it, does it make you crave pizza and other Italian dishes?

Evaluate Current Conditions

If your answer to any of these questions is no, you'll need to make a few adjustments. The first step should be to increase take-out customers. To do this, start with your current menu.

Are there any pictures on the menu? Adding a food stock photo to your existing content may help to increase orders. Check your menu variety against other shops in the area. Is your offering as good as, if not better than the competition?
