Online movie rental services have kicked the corporate chains to the curb by offering a better product with better customer service, price, and ease-of-use. Not only can you find all the same movies online that you find in stores, you can also rent TV show DVDs, documentaries, cartoons, and video games.

With that kind of selection, it's a wonder that anyone still shops at the major chain stores. The hangers-on are largely technophobes who don't trust the safety of their credit card information. Of course, these same people rarely consider that the kids working at their local DVD rental store, where they do find it safe to shop, have access to that same sensitive information.
