Gaining Perspective Through Web Resources

Web resources, as we have touched upon several different times within this site, have proven to be very beneficial to many congregations around the world. The opportunities and references posted on the internet are changing the way people think about Christianity each and every day. I am a living example of how out-of-the-box thinking captivated my attention and dedication to God.

While I don't know for sure if the pastor of our church gathered his teaching methods from web resources or not, I can say for sure that many other churches I have attended around the United States since then have similar practices. This leads me to believe that somehow, pastors and other teachers have a way of sharing creativity among one another.

How Innovation Changed My Perception

In addition to the Christian rock band and the movie clips I've often shared in, many other experiences have changed my outlook on church. I now look forward to attending an hour-long service, even if I do have to battle thousands of other attendees just to get a parking spot. (Yes, I said THOUSANDS.)

My husband and I have recently enrolled in a group for married couples our age that is sponsored by the church. At these sessions we listen to great music, enjoy appetizers and drinks and discuss how Jesus plays a part in our marriage. Spending a Friday night at church was something I never thought I would agree to do.
