Wireless Beepers

by Amy Hall

Wireless beepers that have two way messaging have certainly taken a front seat to other wireless devices, including one way beepers and cellular phones. Perhaps the greatest feature on two way pagers and beepers is that you have the ability to stay connected with the people around you no matter where you are or what time it is. This means that you could be on top of a snowy mountain, or sailing the seas on a cruise ship, and your messages will still be able to get through to you.

You certainly can not say the same thing about cellular phones. If you are out of your service area, you can just forget it. Incoming calls get dropped, and at times it can be impossible to place an outgoing call. Oh, and don't forget about all those wonderful roaming charges that can send your monthly bill through the roof!

Wireless Beepers Equal Better Communication

With 2 way beepers, you can get your messages even when your pager beeper is turned off or the battery is being recharged. This means that all your incoming messages will be saved, so you never have to worry about missing an important message again. You can also take comfort in the fact that you can access your internet email, as well as check out the latest news stories, weather forecasts, stock reports, and sports scores.

In addition, wireless beepers are often considerably cheaper per month then cell phones. There are no roaming charges to content with, and you often don't have to pay at all for incoming messages. This way, you know how much your bill is going to be, so there are no unpleasant surprises in the mail each month.
