U-line Ice Maker

by James Lyons

The U-line Ice Maker can produce 20 pounds of ice daily with only 2 and 3/4 gallons of water, during which time, this ice maker consumes less power than a 75 watt bulb. Moreover, it does not require a drain. The ice maker comes equipped with a removable ice bucket that stores up to 12 pounds of ice. This is a must have for the sultry summer months

What is more delightful than a tall glass of iced tea or a frozen margarita on a hot summer day? When you travel as much as we do, ice can become a luxury, especially if you don't own an ice maker. The U-line ice makers are small enough to be installed or small enough to be left free-standing without taking up too much space. This compact device does the job of something twice its size.

You Will Appreciate the U-Line Ice Maker in the Desert

Several miles east of Phoenix, Arizona, there is a place called Apache Junction where over two hundred thousand RVers (snowbirds) arrive and stay every winter. These RVers literally quadruple the population of this Phoenix suburb in a matter of weeks. Having been to Apache Junction a few times, I once asked a snowbird from Fargo, ND, why he and his wife chose to live there every winter. He responded, "Have you ever been to Fargo in the Winter?"

Technology has evolved certain appliances like U-line ice makers into power conserving devices that require very little maintenance and can draw energy from different sources: propane, shore power, generator, and batteries. With these new appliances, you can choose which mode you would like to use depending on where you are and what you happen to be doing. It makes you feel like the luxuries of home never leave you.
