Among the most desirable of Sacramento's many wonderful residential areas, Placer real estate is perhaps among the pick of the crop! Bordering on Lake Tahoe, much of Placer real estate is convenient to a host of leisure facilities that make it particularly wonderful for young families and anyone with a favorite sport or leisure activity to pursue. In winter, there's skiing in Lake Tahoe (no need to take off for Europe!) and sports and activities that most people can only enjoy in summer in other areas of the county. Then, all summer long you can enjoy the best of California's carefree leisure life. Now, should you be thinking how good can skiing be in Tahoe, please note that for some time now, Lake Tahoe ski resorts have been attracting world class skiers. In fact, Tahoe's Squaw Valley was the venue for the 1960 Winter Olympics!

So Perhaps this is just one good reason why you should be looking for Placer real estate! Placer County also has some exceptional schools, and of course it is convenient for commute to many of California's towns and cities.
