Leg Machines

by Jill Morrison

Many different leg machines are available so you can strengthen your lower body muscles. You can find these machines in any fitness club across the country. However, if you would like to save time and money that you would spend on a gym membership, you can purchase leg machines online and have them shipped directly to your home.

Types of Leg Machines

A leg press is one of the most popular types of leg machines. There are two different types of leg press designs: the vertical leg press and the angled leg press. Both will support the head and neck while you perform high intensity leg presses. The BodySolid Powerline and Giant leg press are great choices in leg press machines.

A seated calf machine will help you to strengthen your calf muscles in a seated position. The BodySolid Powerline Seated Calf is an excellent model of this machine because it operates on a 3 to 1 weight ratio and has a strong round foot platform. The Giant Seated Calf Machine is another excellent model with its adjustable knee supports and dual spotter handles.

Another popular type of machine for leg strengthening is a leg extension/leg curl machine. These machines allow you to develop your leg biceps and quadriceps while protecting your knees from injury or stress. BodySolid Powerline Leg machine is a great choice of a leg extension/leg curl machine.
