Spirit SL-228 Treadmill

The Spirit SL-228 Treadmill is a great model of folding treadmill. Folding treadmills are convenient for use in homes because they help you to save space when you are not using the treadmill. This treadmill has a gas spring assist which makes folding the 250 pound machine easy.

Spirit SL-228 Treadmill Features

As with all Spirit treadmills, the SL-228 comes equipped with the Trax Flex System, the Whisper Quiet system, and a suspended floating deck. Spirit treadmills have high alloy steel frames that are durable enough to fall under a lifetime warranty. The SL-228 offers a two year warranty on the belt, deck, and electronics, as well as a ten year warranty on the motor.

The Spirit SL-228 treadmill is very similar to the SL-218. It has similar features such as the 7 window dot matrix LED display, 12 programs options, and choice of five speed and incline ranges. The main difference is the SL-228 has a heart rate control and greater horsepower than the SL-218. The SL-228 has a 3.0 HP Continuous Duty motor.

The LED display on the Spirit SL-228 treadmill shows information such as speed, pulse, calories, distance, incline, and time. This machine has three heart rate control programs and the chest strap is included with your purchase of the treadmill. There are also 10 preset programs and two user programs to choose from so exercising will never be boring.
