Health and wellness consciousness is sweeping the nation. In the 1960s to the 1980s, there was very little change in the amount of obesity in America. Those statistics began to change in the 1990s when it was noted that there was an increase to approximately 65% of adults that were overweight. At the same time, physical activity has been at an all-time low.

However, recently the public has been made very much aware of the dangers of being obese and not having enough of the proper exercise to build cardiovascular health and strong muscles. Dieting has been popular for a long time, but in many ways has not been successful long term. The latest real time effort has been an emphasis on lifestyle change in conjunction with proper nutrition.

Health and Wellness Awareness Is Growing

With this increased health and wellness awareness, one of the mainstays to success is giving the body everything it needs to maintain healthy cellular activity, curb hunger, support elimination of excess fat, and provide muscle strengthening elements.
