Travel Luggage

by Stacy Chbosky

Ideally, travel luggage should be both well-constructed and durable. Travel luggage should be designed in such a way that it helps you to stay organized while away from home. Travel bags with plenty of interior and exterior pockets will help you keep toiletries, alarm clocks, books and clothing separate. This organization makes unpacking much easier or, if your prefer, will allow you to stay organized even if you choose to keep your items packed for the duration of your trip.

Strong, Durable Travel Luggage

If you are lucky enough to find a suitcase or luggage set that is well-designed for organization, just make sure it's well constructed, too. Otherwise, you might fall in love with your great new bag, only to have it fall apart on you the moment you get your system of packing and unpacking down pat. If you want durable travel luggage, think leather.

Calf skin leather is generally regarded as best. Not only is it incredibly durable, but it wears beautifully. In fact, good calf skin actually becomes better looking over time. How many other materials can you say that about?

If you are willing to spend a bit extra in order to find a durable bag, just make sure the design is classic and timeless. You don't want to be stuck with a well-made, well-organized bag that's going to look ridiculous in ten years (titanium briefcases, anyone?) Simple, classic, bold design is the key.
