We see lots of books advertised as "books for kids." Yet why do these books have to be for kids only? Wouldn't it be better for all involved if children's books were written well enough to be entertaining for adults as well?

With a wave of a wand and a muttered incantation, just such a scenario has occurred. The Harry Potter collection has been proven a must-read for both children and their elders. Listen to popular opinion: how many of your friends keep telling you how great these books are, even if they are books for kids?
