The painter, Greg Olsen, was born in 1958. The son of both an artist mother and artist father, Olsen's talent was encouraged from an early start. He left his home in Idaho to study illustrating at Utah State University.

Greg Olsen is a painter of great renown. His religious art is both powerful and deeply spiritual. One of Olsen's greatest talents lies in his ability to paint light. He is able to capture the depth and nuance of shafts of light in ways that are as technically impressive as they are inspiring. His paintings are on display in temples in over 20 countries around the world. Olsen has even painted for the Pentagon.

Owning a Greg Olsen Print

If you are building your art collection, a Greg Olsen print is a great way to start. His Christian paintings are very spiritually and aesthetically pleasing. They also sell out quite quickly, and are therefore likely to appreciate in monetary value.

Owning one of his limited edition works is an excellent financial investment. Make sure your print is signed and numbered (S/N). The work will also come with a certificate of authenticity. The number indicates at which point in the series your work was printed. For instance, if it reads 120/145, it means yours was the 120th painting printed in a series of 145 prints total.
