Limousines To Washington Dc ConcertsWritten by Sandy Mitchell Washington, DC offers a variety of concert venues. From the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to Wolf Trap in Virginia, Washington regularly hosts world-class performers from a wide variety of genres. In the summer, outdoor concerts on the mall attract thousands. Limousines to Local VenuesThe Kennedy Center, along the Potomac River, just outside of Georgetown, is home to concerts, ballets, theater, opera, and the National Symphony Orchestra. Consisting of five stages under one roof, this entertainment complex can seat up to 10,000. Take a limousine to avoid the crowds and you'll also avoid navigating the narrow, one-way streets surrounding the center. Hiring transportation lets you arrive in style right at the front door and leave when you want after the performance, without fighting for a taxi. Wolf Trap Farm Park, half an hour outside of Washington, DC (near Dulles Airport in Virginia), is the only national park devoted to the performing arts. On the grounds are the Filene Center and an outdoor amphitheater that hosts dance, jazz, pop, and opera performers from June through September. The amphitheater seats 3,000 with space for another 3,500 on the lawn. The rest of the year, the Barns at Wolf Trap host small intimate performances. The mall, between the Capitol building and the Washington Monument, is the scene of popular, summer concerts. Every July 4th, thousands gather for the free concert and fireworks. A limousine to drive you there and pick you up makes the festivities more enjoyable: no walking miles to your car or waiting for a crowded Metrorail car.
