A limousine is a perfect way to travel between the scenic wineries of Virginia. Whether you choose to visit Loudon County, just east of Dulles Airport, the wineries of central Virginia surrounding Charlottesville, or those of the Chesapeake Bay area, a limousine is an easy way to navigate the winding roads of Virginia wine country

Wine Tour Services

A wine country limousine tour may be booked in one telephone call or on a provider's website. Accommodations (either full-service hotels or bed and breakfasts), deluxe picnic lunch and romantic dinner reservations, and a specialized itinerary of wineries can all be easily arranged. Some companies also offer VIP winery tours, wine and cheese baskets en route, or a cruise on the scenic Tappahannock River in the Chesapeake Bay wine country.

The most popular wine itineraries take you to Loudon Valley, central Virginia, and the Chesapeake Bay area. In Loudon Valley, a typical tour would depart your hotel or bed and breakfast, drive along the breathtakingly beautiful skyline drive at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, visit three or four wineries, and return at the end of the day. In central Virginia, wine and history go hand-in-hand. A sample itinerary here would include transportation from your hotel, a visit to three to five wineries, a stop at Monticello (Thomas Jefferson's home), and a return to your hotel.

In the Chesapeake Bay region, a tour might begin with a tour of historic Stafford Hall (Robert E. Lee's home), continue with a visit to three or four wineries, and conclude with a scenic twilight cruise along the Tappahannock River. Many dining options exist here. Especially delicious are the fresh blue crab, rockfish, and oysters. Whichever route you choose, the Virginia wine country is a delightful, gracious, and fun place to visit.
