Gas Motor Scooters

Gas motor scooters are one of the most efficient and economical means of transportation around. The cost of owning and maintaining a motor scooter is a mere fraction of the purchase and upkeep cost of an automobile. Especially in urban areas where space is limited, owning a personal motor scooter makes a lot of sense.

Advantages of Gas Motor Scooters

Gas motor scooters are one of the cheapest ways to get around. Their economical design means they get very good gas mileage. You can fill up your tank for only a few dollars, and that tank will last you quite a long time. It is really nice to have access to a scooter when gas prices rise. It costs me about $30 to fill up my car, but only $6 to fill my scooter, and the life of the tank is about equal.

Living in a big city, I know how difficult parking can be. Sometimes you get to where you're going in only a few minutes, just to spend the next half hour circling around looking for parking. Gas motor scooters alleviate this problem. They are just as fast as cars in the city, and they fit into much smaller spaces. Most businesses even have special motorcycle and scooter parking right up front for even greater convenience.

You don't have to sacrifice style either. Scooter manufacturers produce a wide range of sizes and styles. There is everything from the classic Vespa style (which I love) to a more modern, sleek design that will also turn heads. There are now even newly built retro styles for trendy urbanites and country kids alike.
