Berber Floor Mats

Berber floor mats, with their nylon stitchings and colorfast dyes, are most often found in luxury vehicles. They are typically made from higher-grade fabrics that endure stompings, kickings, dirt, and moisture better than factory-issued mats. The latter are great for basic protection from dust, mud, and other grime, but for day-to-day wear and tear there's no beating a Berber floor mat.

Just who were the Berbers and why do they have floor mats named after them anyway? Like the Huns, Goths, Visigoths, and other ancient tribes, the Berbers have a long historical legacy that predates automobiles, which begs the question, how could they have possibly designed automobile floor mats? Naturally, they didn't. But they do hail from a region of North Africa that is vaunted for its textiles and fabrics, which is probably a better explanation for how their tribal name ended up on a popular SUV accessory.

Travel in Luxury with Berber Floor Mats

Berber floor mats are available in everything from beige and gray to brown and black to match the luxury interiors of most sedans and high-end SUVs. They also come in over 1500 different designs, giving you a wide range of custom options to match your interior accents such as wood finishing and leather seats. And with their "Sta-Put" design, Berber mats are built to resist slipping and therefore better protect your interior carpet.

All weather front floor mats are a good place to start if you've just purchased a mid-priced SUV or truck. But if you're looking for an added level of protection, Berber floor mats, with their easy clean-up and rubber-nib backing, afford you all the convenience you could ask for in keeping your vehicle clean. When it comes to SUV accessories, there are few extras that give you so much for so little money.
