Sometimes a nice, hot cup of tea is just what you need to feel rejuvenated. Organic herbal teas are becoming increasingly popular, even among those of us who traditionally have chosen a cup of Joe over tea. However, teas come in a variety of flavors, so you can pick and choose what type of tea you drink according to your mood. There is much more to tea than Earl Grey or Irish Breakfast.

Many organic herbal teas come decaffeinated, but some do contain caffeine. Many people are under the impression that an herbal tea contains no caffeine, but this is not true. In fact, unless the package specifically says caffeine-free, you should assume that the tea in question does contain caffeine, though to a lesser degree than coffee.

When shopping for organic herbal teas, simply pick out what suits your tastes. For instance, I absolutely love cinnamon. I have a wide assortment of herbal teas that contain cinnamon, cloves, and other ingredients that bring me soothing comfort with each cup. Perhaps you have an affinity for green teas. The good news is that you can purchase organic green teas that come infused with other flavors, such as mint or pear.

Organic Herbal Teas: Soothing Comfort in Every Cup

Herbal teas can be a great alternative to coffee, and they are soothing to drink throughout the day. Sometimes just sipping on chamomile tea can calm your frazzled nerves. Most herbal teas can be found without caffeine, so it can be wonderful to curl up in the evening with a good book and some hot tea before bedtime. From vanilla to spiced chai to mint, the flavors of herbal teas are so varied that surely you can find one to suit your individual tastes.
