Capezio dance wear is a popular line of clothing for beginning level and professional dancers. Capezio began as a company that provided performance shoes to dancers and theatrical performers. The company was created in 1887 and quickly became popular among professional performers and stars. Today, Capezio provides an extensive collection of clothing and accessories in addition to a fine collection of dance shoes.

Capezio Dance Wear Options

Capezio dance wear styles are available for every style of dance, including jazz, lyrical jazz, tap, ballet, modern, hip hop, gymnastics, ballroom, and musical theater dance. Capezio also makes clothing options for ice skaters. In fact, Tara Lipinski, the Olympic gold medalist for skating, agreed to be the spokeswoman for Capezio Skatewear in 1998. Capezio clothing and shoes have also been worn by stars such as Anna Pavlova, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Ann Reinking, Bob Fosse, and the Radio City Rockettes.

Capezio dance wear consists of items such as leotards, skirts, tops, unitards, dance belts, jazz pants, warm-ups, briefs, undergarments, and tights. Capezio also makes a variety of dance accessories and bags. Dance bags are available in many different sizes and are designed to hold items such as shoes, water bottles, towels, and other dance-related accessories.

Capezio clothing items are designed to stretch and provide comfortable support for dance activities. Capezio undergarments are designed to be worn for support and/or coverage while dancing. Many performers will choose to purchase Capezio tights and undergarments to wear under costumes for dance or musical theater performances. Capezio undergarments are also available in different shades to work with different skin tones.
