Plus size dance wear has recently become available for plus size dancers. In the past, most dance wear companies have assumed that dancers are generally small in size. However, this is not always the case. You do not have to be small to enjoy dancing, so dance clothing options should be available for larger individuals. Danskin is the one dance wear brand that has created a wonderful line of plus size clothing for dancers.

Danskin Plus Size Dance Wear Options

Danskin has created clothing options for plus size dancers between the sizes of 1X and 4X. Plus size individuals can choose from tights, different styles of leotards, pants, and tops that can be worn for dancing. Many of the styles are appropriate for the gym and for general fashion wear in addition to wearing for dance classes.

Available Danskin colors for plus size dance wear are black, navy, white, and concrete gray. Danskin also provides tights in light suntan, black, and toast. Danskin plus size tights are made from 90 percent nylon and 10 percent Lycra. They can be used for dance classes or for dance performances. Most other Danskin clothing products are made from a cotton Lycra spandex blend.

Danskin plus size dance wear provides dancers with many different styles of tops and pants. You can purchase boot leg pants, capri pants, or drawstring pants, depending on your preference. Danskin makes tank and short sleeve style tops for general exercising needs. You can also choose from long sleeve leotards, short sleeve leotards, and tank leotards with a supportive shelf bra lining.

The birthday girl loekod ecstatic! As well she should!!I love this, Amanda. You and I have talked before about birthday parties. I applaud you for setting a great example. If little kids are treated to wildly extravagant parties, what will they expect when they're teenagers? Or worse, when they're adults? I really think it's far better for little girls to feel like they're treasured daughters of their parents than that they're princesses. As the mother of boys, I get nervous thinking of one of my boys someday falling in love with a girl who's been taught that she's a princess, that the world revolves around her, and that no expense should be spared in pursuit of her entertainment. Shudders! You are an awesome mom.
