Underwire Bras

Underwire bras, in my opinion, are far superior to their soft, wireless counterparts. Underwire bras last longer than other bras, provide more support, and create a better shape. Everything that bras are designed to do, underwire bras do better.

Getting Used to Underwire Bras

Some women find underwires very uncomfortable at first. However, like many other clothing items, once you get used to underwires, you'll find that they offer superior comfort. Say you are a full figured woman. In order for a soft bra to give you the support you need, its elastic circumference will need to be intrusively large and strong.

Instead of wearing a half-inch thick elastic edge against your skin, you could wear a light, thin wire. It will give the same support, in a much more comfortable fashion. Plus, as the months roll by, the elastic is apt to wear out much more quickly than the wire.

If you are a full figured woman, you owe it to yourself to try these bras. Look for a bra with a comfortable, wide strap, and a decent number of hooks in the back. One hook bras just aren't supportive enough for a woman with a C cup or larger. I like a good three hook bra, although, if it's well made, a two hook bra can usually offer enough support.
