Good anti wrinkle skin care should tackle wrinkles, discoloration, and other signs of aging, in a variety of different ways. In other words, no single product is enough. Anti wrinkle skin care should include cleansing, toning, and treating for both the day and night.

Skin care products for day use should include UV protection and protection against free radicals and pollutants. Anti wrinkle treatments designed for nighttime use should encourage cell regeneration and repair. Our cells do most of their healing and repairing while we sleep, which is a very good argument for getting plenty of rest. Anti wrinkle skin care products designed for nighttime use should encourage the skin cells to do what comes naturally during sleep--repair, and regenerate.

Anti Wrinkle Skin Care for Problem Areas

You'll want to use special anti wrinkle skin care products for problem areas, such as the eyes and lips. The skin around our eyes is notoriously delicate. Since it lacks the fat padding found in the rest of the face, the skin around the eyes tends to be the first to lose its youthful plumpness. Dryness, puffiness, and wrinkles quickly ensue once the skin around the eyes has lost its elasticity and firmness.

The skin around the mouth tends to also be susceptible to wrinkles. Rapid and extreme movements are to blame. We constantly use our mouths to express ourselves. The mouth is also a hot spot for tension. Picture the tense, pursed lips of an angry person who is trying not to lose her cool! Fortunately, special creams are available which address the particular needs of skin around the eyes, and skin around the mouth.
