A leading American dermatologist, Dr. Howard Sobel, is among the pioneers of skin care who combined dermatology with cosmetic surgery. Dr. Sobel, one of New York's preeminent dermatologists, is the editor in chief of the International Journal of Cosmetic Surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology. He also serves as Clinical Attending Physician in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery at Beth Israel Hospital, Cabrini Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital, all of which are located in New York City. He also is the founder and chairman of HDS Labs, which manufactures DDF (Doctor's Dermalogic Formula) products.

DDF products target both preventive and restorative skin care needs. DDF products combine traditional, medically-based prescriptives with marine, plant and botanical solutions. All products are designed to restore, and subsequently maintain, skin's optimum health.

Their product line is exhaustive. They have 14 categories, with treatments for everything from daily skin care to wrinkle reduction treatments, cellular renewal, sun-damage repair, acne relief, scar reduction, eye firming serums, and super-emollient creams designed to beat cold weather damage inflicted on hands and feet. If you've got a skin care problem, Dr. Sobel's got a product.

Dr. Sobel Will See You Now

One of the most unique aspects of Dr. Sobel's DDF products is that many of them come accompanied by educational DVDs. These DVDs can be ordered alone, or as part of an entire solution "kit" (i.e., acne kit, anti-aging kit) which includes the most essential products to treat a specific condition. The DVDs are designed to educate the user about the correct way to apply the products, the various causes of the condition, and how to best protect oneself in the future. DVDs like these make it possible to have a private consultation with one of the leading dermatologists in the country, at a fraction of a fraction of the cost of an actual office appointment.
