Dr. Brandt SkincareWritten by Stacy Chbosky I like the idea behind Dr. Brandt skincare products, but the products themselves didn't work as well for me as I had hoped. Like me, a lot of people became familiar with Dr. Brandt skincare products because of his book, Age-less: the Definitive Guide to Botox, Peels, Collagen & Other Solutions for Flawless Skin. The book was really good, but the Dr. Brandt skincare products I tried were only so-so. Dr. Brandt Skincare: Science and NatureThe idea behind Dr. Brandt's products is that they combine natural ingredients with synthetics. A product might contain, say, salicylic acid combined with rosemary extract. I like the idea of this, since I personally find botanical ingredients too weak, and synthetic ingredients too harsh. After I tried Dr. Brandt products, I gave DDF products a try, and liked them much better. The philosophy is similar--combine nature and science for the best possible products--but the results were much better. The fine lines around my eyes practically went away, and the reddish discoloration my skin was prone toward went away entirely. I also take good care of myself, which seems to do a lot for my skin. Basically, if I get enough sleep, my skin looks good. If I don't, it doesn't. I try to drink plenty of water, eat lots of fruits and vegetables, and I try to drink only one cup of coffee per day. Good skin starts with taking care of yourself.
