Moisture Creams

Moisture creams are one of those things that not many guys (aside from the metrosexual variety) would admit to using. But they're really a great way to keep your skin feeling soft and healthy. Maybe the problem is that most guys aren't that interested in feeling soft and healthy.

The Dos and Don'ts of Moisture Creams

If your skin is feeling dry, moisture creams will definitely help you out. But there are a few things you should think about before slathering them all over your body. Being thoughtful about moisturizing your skin can not only improve your appearance, but can also help you avoid nasty problems.

The first thing to keep in mind when using moisture creams is whether or not you have skin allergies. The last thing you want is to moisturize your skin but then find yourself breaking out in a horrible, itchy rash. If you have skin allergies, you can still moisturize. Just look for a moisture cream that is free of perfumes or common allergens.

Pimples and acne are also important considerations when using moisture creams. A lot of people who don't normally have pimple problems will find themselves breaking out if they use a heavy moisture cream. And this problem isn't just limited to the face--dermatologists report common breakouts on the arms, back, and chest.
