Natural Skin Care

If you have tried what seems like hundreds of products all to no avail, ask yourself if you have ever tried natural skin care. Your skin may be too sensitive for most bottled, generic products. Caring for your skin naturally just means that you don't use any products that contain chemicals or enhancers. It's usually just using things you can find at your local grocery store such as honey, bananas, avocados, and eggs.

Lots of people make their own masks from produce. Honey is good for dry skin, cornmeal can be used as an exfoliator, and both the egg white and the egg yolk are good for certain skin conditions. If you are a little wary about just slapping some food on your face, there are plenty of product lines that are made only from natural substances.

Feel Good with Natural Skin Care

Many natural skin care product lines can be found at organic grocery stores. Also, beauty supply places will have full product lines for natural care, but they also carry lines that aren't all natural, so make sure you ask. Anyone working at one of these stores is usually an expert at what they sell, so feel free to ask what they think would be good for your skin.

Natural skin care products are great because all the work is done for you. You don't have to mush an avocado every night or crack eggs every morning. Each bottle should last for a while. Plus, they've added all sorts of natural ingredients in one bottle to maximize its effectiveness. Many will have plant extracts such as aloe, jojoba, or lavender. Each will inform you on the back or front of the bottle what its main use is.
