Sandalwood soaps have been a favorite for centuries. Sandalwood is a type of tree which grows successfully in countries like India. The oil of the sandalwood tree is wonderfully fragrant, making it popular in products such as sandalwood soaps, perfumes, lotions, and incense.

Sandalwood Soaps: A Classic Scent

Sandalwood soaps offer a classic scent, which is both clean and slightly spicy. Users enjoy the freshness of the scent, and the sweet, lingering fragrance that stays on their skin for hours after showering. Fads and fashions come and go, even when it comes to which all natural soaps are popular and which are not. Sandalwood is that rare soap which never loses its popularity.

The best place to buy handmade soaps is online. Look for handmade soap websites for the best variety and value. I like using American companies for the freshest and, therefore, the most fragrant soap possible. Although soap lasts quite a long time, it does have a shelf life, so freshness matters.

Consider buying in bulk for added savings. Buying in bulk makes a lot more sense if you start giving away handmade soaps as gifts. You can buy a large number of soaps, giving yourself a hearty supply, and treating yourself to a stockpile of small gifts. I find that when I have a decent stockpile of gifts at home, I am much more generous with my gift giving. I'm also a lot less stressed out about co-workers' and friends' birthdays!
