Mascot t-shirts invoke perhaps the most school spirit of all types of school shirts. Mascots are what give the school its unique colors and charm. People will go to school games with their faces painted with school colors or dressed like the mascot. It is the mascot who runs onto the field to get everyone excited for the game. The mascot is the leader at pep rallies. Mascots are not taken lightly. They are an image that represents the entire school, including academics and athletics.

Creating Mascot T-Shirts

I have seen hundreds of designs for mascot t-shirts. The most common and simple shirts just have the mascot either on the back of the shirt or over the breast pocket. These are good for parents or for wearing out. They are simple and not overwhelming, yet they say what they need to say. They announce to the world that you are a fan of that team, but you don't need to yell about it. You feel confident in your fan-dom.

For fun shirts, make them so that they look like a piece of the mascot. For example, if your mascot always wears a particular shirt, make the mascot t-shirts look the same. It's almost as if you are the mascot when you wear shirts like this. When you are ordering your shirts, find a company that is willing to work with you as far as pricing and quantity. If you order online, see if you can locate a company that will allow you to view several samples of your order before you make any final decisions.

Putting the mascot on the breast pocket of a polo shirt is a wonderful idea. When I say "breast pocket," that doesn't necessarily mean that there will be a pocket. This is just a description as to where an image might go. Most of all, mascots are fun and bring forth team spirit. Make sure your shirts do the same.
