Micro swimsuits are shaped just like the traditional string bikini only there is significantly less material. These are great suits to tan in because they leave very little areas without a tan. This makes it easy to look evenly tanned in anything you wear.

Though micro bikinis and one-pieces are still rarely found on beaches in most of the US, they are becoming increasingly popular in the hot and sexy beaches of south Florida. Places like Fort Lauderdale, South Beach and Key West have become swim wear fashion capitals. Their loose and carefree environment attracts hot, young sun worshippers from all around the world. Micro swim wear fits perfectly into south Florida's wickedly hip atmosphere.

Micro Swim Wear Can Be Versatile

Wearing an incredibly revealing swimsuit to the beach may not be for everyone. It's true that you have to have a smoking hot body to truly pull off a suit like that. Most people would agree that everyone has something they hate about their body. It might be something only they can see, but to them it is glaringly obvious and they are embarrassed to show it. These things might hold them back from wearing a micro bikini.

There are, however, many ways to wear a micro swimsuit without showing everything. Cover-ups are a key ingredient to feeling comfortable in any swim wear especially swim wear that leaves nothing to the imagination. When walking down the beach you can throw on a sarong or a pair of loose pants to complete the ensemble. An open button down shirt also works nicely because you can hide any imperfections and still show off your body. Then you simply remove the cover-up for swimming and sunbathing. This is how you can wear a micro suit and still feel appropriate and comfortable.
